The Meaning

Why NÈG MAWON

This first release is rooted in one symbol — resistance, dignity, memory, and freedom carried forward.

What does NÈG MAWON mean?

Nèg Mawon refers to the freedom fighter — the escaped enslaved person who chose resistance over submission. In Haiti, it became a symbol of liberation, defiance, and independence.

Why is it the center of this capsule?

Because this collection is not decoration. It is a statement. The first capsule is built around memory and movement — something worn in the present, but rooted in history.

Why release it through waitlist only?

Because access is intentional. The first release is limited, and entry opens to waitlist members first. This keeps the drop focused, controlled, and community-led.
